Negotiations for a proposed US-Kenya Free Trade Agreement (FTA) launched in July 2020. EIFL and our partner library consortium in Kenya, the Kenya Libraries and Information Services Consortium (KLISC), prepared a Fact Sheet to raise awareness of the negotiations, and potential issues for libraries among the library community in Kenya and wider civil society.

The Fact Sheet includes each government’s negotiating objectives, priority topics, information on public consultations and potential issues for libraries in any FTA.
