ABOUT THE RESOURCE
"Copyright for Librarians" (CFL) is an online open curriculum on copyright law that was developed jointly with Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet and Society.
The goal is to provide librarians in developing and transition countries with information concerning copyright law. More specifically, it aspires to inform librarians concerning copyright law in general; the aspects of copyright law that most affect libraries; and how librarians in the future could most effectively participate in the processes by which copyright law is interpreted and shaped.
As a result of inter-disciplinary co-operation between the School of Library and Information Science at Moldova State University, students from the Department of Translation, Interpretation and Applied Linguistics undertook the translation as part of their graduation internship, supervised by senior lecturers Rodica Caragia and Angela Grădinaru, Ph.D under the leadership of Associate Professor Nelly Turcan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Scientific Communication.
