Iryna Kuchma, EIFL Open Access Programme Manager, will participate in the EC’s Technical Assistance and Information Exchange (TAIEX) expert mission on Ukraine’s the National Open Science Plan.

The mission is organized by TAIEX in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Experts will analyze the status of the implementation of the National Open Science Plan in Ukraine in light of Ukraine’s progress towards EU membership, present current best practices in developing and implementing national open science plans with an emphasis on current European legislation, and propose an open access monitoring model with an appropriate set of indicators. 

TAIEX is a key European Union instrument for institutional capacity-building worldwide, providing targeted and rapid support to public administrations in EU candidate countries and beyond.
