EIFL was presented at a two week workshop, organised by the University of Hasselt as part of VLIR-OUS project Library and Information Management. EIFL was represented by Gwen Franck who spoke about open access and other activities that EIFL is involved in expanding access to knowledge in developing countries.

This two week workshop, organised by VLIR-UOS and Universiteit Hasselt brought people together with a different background but with a rich expertise in information management: Librarians and information managers from Flanders universities and colleges, experts from international organizations and most important information specialists from academic institutions in the South.
