EIFL has renewed an agreement with Oxford University Press (OUP), for a further year until 31 December 2024. The agreement includes free and discounted access to journals and online products and waived article processing charges (APCs).

Access to Journals and Online Products

Libraries from the following countries can subscribe to a full collection of 375 journals and a range of online products:

Free access

18 countries can access Oxford Journals and Online Products free of charge - 

  • Congo (DR), Côte d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lesotho, Malawi, Maldives, Moldova, Myanmar, Nepal, Senegal, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, Zambia.

Access at discounted rates

12 countries can access the Oxford Journals at discounted rates. 

  • Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Fiji, Georgia, Kenya, Kosovo, Namibia, North Macedonia, Palestine, Uzbekistan, Zimbabwe

Waived APCs 

Corresponding authors from 30 EIFL partner countries can publish accepted articles in OUP’s fully open access for free. This means that they will not be charged any APCs.

* Note: Corresponding authors from Ukraine will not be automatically recognised for fee waivers, but editorial teams will review waiver requests on a case-by-case basis.
