On 15th October, participants from different EIFL member countries - including Nepal, Latvia, Macedonia and Botswana - attended a product training webinar on SAGE Research Methods and SAGE Research Methods Cases.
This webinar is the first in a series of product training webinars designed to provide training for librarians who can then in turn train end-users.
SAGE Research Methods is the essential online resource for anyone doing research or learning how to do research. SAGE Research Methods spans the full range of research methods, including quantitative and qualitative research methods, and covers hundreds of methodological approaches and terms.
SAGE Research Methods Cases is a collection of case studies of real social research, specially commissioned and designed to help students and researchers understand abstract methodological concepts in practice. SRMC is hosted on the SAGE Research Methods platform.
The webinar was run by SAGE product trainer Jennifer Hopkins. Jennifer gave an overview of the target audience for this product, the ideas behind the product, and some of the key features. She then gave a live demonstration of the site and explored features and content.
Jennifer also pointed out the useful Librarian Resources section of the website with additional materials of use when training users.
