Initiated with support from the EIFL Public Library Innovation Programme (EIFL-PLIP) in 2012, this service responds to the information needs of farmers in Uganda's Bukedea District. Librarians train farmers to use digital cameras and tape recorders to collect information from other farmers about agro-ecological farming methods. KACE (Kachumbala Area Cooperative Enterprise and Community Library) works with the farmers to create documentary slide shows which are screened at community meetings.

This two-page case study is based on impact assessment conducted by the library in 2013.
