EIFL Open Access Programme Manager Iryna Kuchma will facilitate two interactive training sessions for the Health National Contact Point Network 2.0 (Health NCP Net 2.0) in Athens, Greece.

Health NCP Net 2.0 (HNN2.0) is a project funded by the European Commission (EC) under the major programme for research and innovation, Horizon 2020 (H2020). Health National Contact Points (NCPs) are people nominated by their governments to spread awareness, provide specialist advice and on-the ground guidance on health research funding opportunities within Horizon 2020, and to ensure that the programme is accessible to all potential applicants.

The aim of the training is to give an overview on open access and data management in H2020 projects. Kuchma will facilitate sessions on ‘Open Data: Strategies for Research Data Management, and impact of best practices’ and ‘Winning Horizon 2020 with Open Science: How to gain a competitive evaluation advantage’.

The training is co-organized by the FOSTER (Facilitating Open Science Training for European Research) project. EIFL coordinates training activities for the FOSTER project.
